Active internationally in both academic and non academic milieus,
Marinos Koutsomichalis is being working as an artist since the mid ’00s
using primarily sound and occasionally a variety of other mediums. He
has released albums in several labels and he regularly exhibits his work
throughout the world. He has worked as a resident artists in various
research centres and institutions in Europe and has lectured at the
Technical University of Crete and at the Centre of Contemporary Music
Research (KSYME). He has collaborated with Z’EV, Francisco Lopez, Robin
McGinley, Marc Behrens, Kasper T. Toeplitz and others in various
projects. He is pursuing his PhD in the University of York under the
supervision of Dr Tony Myatt.
